Site-Specific Acoustic Challenge Analysis
In July 2025, Kisumu Cathedral, Kenya, officially commissioned TASSO Audio's specialized reinforcement system to deliver professional acoustical
support for religious services and mass gatherings. As a pivotal worship center in East Africa, the cathedral hosts multiple weekly rituals, Mass celebrations,
and congregational assemblies of up to 3,000 attendees - demanding uncompromising audio clarity, 99.98% system reliability, and uniform 70dB coverage
across its 19th-century Gothic architecture.
Leveraging decades of professional audio expertise and proven global project methodology, TASSO Audio engineered a bespoke reinforcement solution specifically calibrated for Kisumu Cathedral's unique architectural acoustics and liturgical requirements.
The solution deploys TASSO's high-performance T-lite single-10" line array system, delivering unparalleled tonal authenticity with ±1.5dB frequency response (35Hz-20kHz) for sacred instrument reproduction. Complemented by architecturally sensitive HD columns featuring custom RAL color-matched enclosures, the installation achieves seamless visual integration with the cathedral's Gothic stonework.
Liturgical Acoustic Precision & Coverage Optimization
Through scientific array configuration and precision commissioning, the system eliminates acoustic voids
with <±2.5dB variance across 32 measurement zones, delivering pinpoint coverage to all liturgical spaces.
This provides sacramental acoustic assurance with 0.92 STIPA consistency from chancel to narthex.
